It Goes Beyond That, Though…
Often, people take their comprehension of technology for granted. Many out there, especially our aging population, struggle with these things, leaving them out and isolated. We take the time to help them at their pace, making sure they are able to take advantage of technology and stay in touch with their friends and family.
Personal Experiences.
Growing up in northern Minnesota, my family members would often call me to help them with their tech-related questions and issues. They never had to rely on technology before, so they never needed to use it. “Why is my internet down?”, “How do I put the videos on VHS to the computer?”, “I think I have a virus!” – on and on. New week, new problem. This is when I realized that there is a need for people to take the time to reach out and help those who need a more sit-down approach to help them.
Often, these same people don’t know how to “Google it” and, more importantly, sift through what is fact and what is fiction. We will help them solve the issue and more importantly, understand the problem and know what the solution is and why it works. No matter the person, their age, or the problem, I make it my mission to make sure my customers are taken care of like they are my own family members. Curious how we can help? I am a proud U.S. Air Force veteran who honorably served their country until being unexpectedly medically retired. In that time I worked in component level electronics diagnostics and repair as well as various other technology related fields like computer hardware, software, networking and programming.
I try every day to abide by a simple rule – treat others how you would like to be treated. I believe in that so much, I have it tattooed on my arm. It goes beyond being personable though. I don’t recommend anything I wouldn’t try or use myself or suggest to my own friends or family members.
K.I.S.S. “Keep It Simple, Silly.” Typically the best solution is the most simple. The less moving pieces, the more reliable the solution is. It also helps with teaching others to understand it, too. No overly complicated solutions here just to make an extra cent from selling something extra.
I may not know the answer to everything, but I have the right network to ask to find out for certain. I may not be able to take on or do every job, and in those cases I will find a few options for you that can. I want to make sure my friends, family and customers are taken care of in a satisfactory manner.
